Oh, Amy, that story made my heart hurt. It sounds like Ashley Lucas is very good at telling the stories. I’m honored that my piece made you think of her work. I hope to do much more on this subject and criminal justice in the USA. We’re in deep trouble.

Our daughter lives in Sydney with her husband and daughter. We haven’t visited yet, but I hope to someday.
