When he entered a cell to beat a prisoner
But they did not
They should have fired him when another officer
reported unnecessary force subsequent to arrest
But they did not
They should have fired him when they went to his house
Because he was beating his wife
But, still, they did not.
They should have fired him when he shot and killed
an unarmed, fleeing teenager,
And finally, they did.
