Why Is ABC Airing A Tough BBC Interview With A British Prince?
Instead Of Asking Donald Trump the Same Hard Questions.
It is outrageous the bosses at ABC World News think they need to run the BBC interview with Prince Andrew about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein every night when they’ve barely mentioned Trump’s involvement as a friend and guest of Epstein.
Epstein was a very bad guy and was guilty of terrible things including sex trafficking. It’s troubling that the president was seemingly involved with him to one extent or another.
But is ABC, an American television news corporation, trying to join the BBC in holding a British prince to account when our own president was obviously associated with Epstein at least as much and probably more than Prince Andrew? Are the people in charge at ABC getting vicarious pleasure from watching the Brits hold their prince’s feet to the fire — since they can’t do the same to Trump?
Most people probably aren’t feeling it and wonder, too, why it isn’t Trump being grilled in this thorough manner by US media? He is the leader of the USA. Why not ask him what he was doing with Epstein all those times? Ask him if he raped a 13-year-old girl while he was with Epstein? There have been a lot of rumors and accusations that need to be cleared up and investigated.
What a hypocritical and cowardly thing ABC is doing. It’s impossible to watch a tough BBC interviewer asking a member of their monarchy to account for his friendship with Epstein without wondering why our media can’t or won’t ask Trump those same questions. ABC is more than happy to air the BBC interview. Meantime, they seem happy to ignore the fact a US president was also enmeshed with Epstein and was accused of much the same things or worse than Prince Andrew.
ABC won’t subject Trump to the same scrutiny the BBC is directing toward their prince. Until they do, they should just stop with airing the interrogation of the British prince. It is disgusting to watch the avoidance,
Drag Trump through a long news cycle with an interview as searching as the one Andrew was subjected to by the BBC. Don’t just air BBC interviewing a member of their royal family, but ask our president what he was doing with Epstein? We’ve seen the photo where Epstein and Trump seem to be greatly enjoying each other’s company.
Why not hold our own responsible before airing the misdeeds of the Brit? Why should Americans care what part Prince Andrew played if we’re going to just forget that Trump, too, had an involvement with Epstein and that there were reports a rape may have been committed through that buddy deal?
It’s much easier, albeit cowardly and negligent, to air the British prince being put through his paces by British media than to subject our own president to the same questioning.
This way, ABC is keeping the Epstein story alive, but doesn’t have to worry about upsetting Trumpers or Trump-loving sponsors. They are airing the British interview as if that counts as covering the story. Not hardly.
Its actually pretty lame. If they aren’t going to subject our own wannabe king to the same hard questions, it’s inappropriate and unethical to air the grilling of Prince Andrew.
